St. Ann’s Pop Up Pantry

St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church's Pop-Up Pantry provides fresh and non-perishable food items to food-insecure residents of Brooklyn Heights. Launched in June 2020 in response to food insecurity resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the pantry has grown from serving fewer than 20 people weekly to serving approximately 300 people per week, with partnerships including local grocery stores like Perelandra Natural Foods that donate fresh produce. The pantry is run by volunteers ranging from high school students to retirees and operates from the church's narthex and entrance.
