Evergreen Free Fridge

Evergreen Free Fridge is a community fridge in Bushwick, Brooklyn, operated by local volunteers who stock the outdoor pantry with free food and produce for neighbors in need. Inspired by the broader community fridge mutual aid movement that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, Evergreen Free Fridge started after a Bushwick resident saw another community fridge and began this grassroots initiative to address food insecurity in their neighborhood.
