Elmira Community Kitchen and High Street Pantry – Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler

Elmira Community Kitchen and High Street Pantry, operated by Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need throughout Chemung and Schuyler counties. Since opening in 1981, the organization has combined a community kitchen that prepares nourishing meals with an emergency food pantry, welcoming thousands of neighbors each year regardless of their circumstances. Supported by over 200 volunteers from 25 local faith communities and organizations, the kitchen and pantry serve families with children, low-wage working people, homeless individuals, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
