Hempstead AG: Open Arms Food Pantry

Hempstead Assembly of God's Open Arms Food Pantry is a church-run food distribution program providing groceries including canned food, fresh produce, and dry goods to residents of Hempstead. The pantry operates as a client-choice model where families select their own food items with assistance from volunteers, and also provides referrals to other social services and conducts yearly interviews to connect clients with additional resources.
