St. Regis Mohawk Reservation — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

The St. Regis Mohawk Reservation Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) serves eligible community members of Akwesasne as an alternative to traditional food assistance programs. The program provides USDA-supplied foods including cheese, canned vegetables, canned meats, powdered milk, eggs, rice, peanut butter, canned juices, cereal, butter, and frozen chicken and beef to participants who qualify. The program maintains a storage warehouse and offers both onsite pickup and outreach delivery services to ensure eligible residents have access to nutritious food commodities.
