Danby Food Pantry

The Danby Food Pantry was started in 1989 by Joan Barber in partnership with the Danby Federated Church to provide convenient food assistance to Danby residents. Recognizing that community members faced hardship traveling to the Ithaca Kitchen Cupboard, the pantry was established to bring food resources closer to home. Operating as a community service in Ithaca, the pantry has served its residents for decades by providing emergency food assistance to those in need.
