Heaven’s Pantry

Heaven's Pantry is a community food pantry serving families in the East Syracuse-Minoa school district, operating as a client-choice pantry where recipients select from fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, meats and proteins, and grains based on household size. Founded 47 years ago by Sue Dodge and a small group of churchgoers from the First United Methodist Church in Minoa, the pantry has grown to serve as many as 85 families monthly and has experienced a 56% increase in demand over the past five years.
