Baby Steps Baby Pantry at Christ Lutheran Church

Baby Steps Baby Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Newburgh that provides free diapers and related health care products to families in need throughout Orange County. The pantry was created after a church member, Susan Surprise, recognized the financial burden diapers place on low-income families and now serves over 100 babies monthly by distributing weekly supplies including diapers, wipes, wash, and diaper cream to families referred by area social service agencies.
