About
One Love Community Fridge is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit organization founded by Asmeret Berhe-Lumax in 2020 that works to increase access to fresh, healthy food and address food insecurity through community-operated refrigerators. The fridge at HAVEN Boxing is hosted at that location and operates as part of One Love's network, providing community members free access to nutritious foods while fostering engagement, respect, and dignity within the neighborhood.
