Mercy Soup Kitchen

Mercy Soup Kitchen of Wyandanch, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that serves nutritious hot lunches to unhoused, disabled, elderly, children, and poor people in the Wyandanch community. Led by Sister Mary Agunta Boyle and supported by 9 to 15 dedicated volunteers, the organization serves over 25,000 free, hot meals annually along with take-home cooked meals on a no-questions-asked basis. The kitchen welcomes volunteers and donations to support its mission of providing nourishment to local residents in need.
