YMCA – Healthy Living Pantry

The YMCA Healthy Living Pantry is a food assistance program operated by the YMCA of Western North Carolina that emphasizes healthful foods including fresh produce, whole grains, and lean protein through partnerships with MANNA Food Bank and other area organizations. Founded in November 2013, the pantry has grown from serving a handful of families to providing food for up to 49 families per week, filling critical gaps for families experiencing food insecurity. The program also offers nutrition and cooking demonstrations to help participants develop lifelong healthy eating habits.
