Living Waters Food Pantry

Living Waters Food Pantry, located outside Cherokee near the Qualla Boundary in western North Carolina, is a mission-based food pantry operated as part of the Living Waters mission church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The pantry serves approximately 700 families monthly from the local area, providing emergency food assistance without requiring proof of income, and was established following conversations with tribal elders to address food insecurity in the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians community.
