Blowing Rock Cares Food Pantry

Blowing Rock Cares Food Pantry is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in Watauga County. Founded in 2009 after a community member identified the need for a food pantry at Blowing Rock School, the organization has grown significantly to serve the broader community. The pantry is housed at Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church and provides nutritious groceries through both pre-packed food boxes and a personal shopper model, offering delivery services to those with special needs and partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Feeding America and local food retailers.
