Food Bank of Central & Eastern

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is a nonprofit organization established in 1980 that provides food assistance to people at risk of hunger across 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina. Operating a distribution center in the Sandhills area near Carthage, the organization serves a network of over 700 partner agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and community programs. As an affiliate of Feeding America, the Food Bank ranks among the top 15 food banks nationally and has earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for its commitment to nourishing families and building sustainable solutions to end hunger in the region.
