Food Bank of the Albemarle

The Food Bank of the Albemarle is a nonprofit organization that fights hunger and poverty across 15 counties in northeastern North Carolina through its network of over 100 hunger-relief partners. Established in 1981 by concerned citizens, churches, and local businesses in Elizabeth City, the organization has distributed over 88 million meals and 56 million pounds of food to families, seniors, veterans, and children in need. The food bank works to connect people with healthy food and a brighter future through collaborative community partnerships.
