Spartan Open Pantry

The Spartan Open Pantry is a free food pantry serving UNC Greensboro students, staff, and recent alumni facing food insecurity in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded 14 years ago by Wesley-Luther Director Andrew Mails-Saine, the pantry has grown to distribute record amounts of food and is operated by Spartan Mosaic, a Methodist and Lutheran nonprofit at UNCG. The pantry operates year-round and partners with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwestern NC to provide nutritious food and support to community members in need.
