Parktown Food Hub
About
Parktown Food Hub is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 that grew from a food pantry at Parkwood Elementary School in Durham to become a community-based food hub serving South Durham. Using a supermarket-style model, the organization works to reduce food insecurity by providing groceries and fostering social connection among neighbors, with support from the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina.
