Oak City Cares Free Food – Catholic Charities

Oak City Cares is a comprehensive multi-services hub operated by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh that serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Wake County. The organization, established as a separate nonprofit in 2018 and opened to the public in April 2019, coordinates housing, employment, health, and hunger assistance services from over 20 partner agencies at its downtown Raleigh location. Oak City Cares provides free weekend meals and serves as an access point for coordinated entry intakes and shelter referrals for Wake County residents in need.
