South Brunswick InterChurch Council – The Lord’s Food Pantry

The Lord's Food Pantry is a mission of the South Brunswick Interchurch Council, a nonprofit partnership of 14 area churches dedicated to serving those in need in Brunswick County regardless of income, faith, or other criteria. Since 1981, the pantry has worked to alleviate hunger by providing nutritious food, personal supplies, and other items to families in need, typically serving 80 to 100 families weekly. The all-volunteer operation, designated as a Healthy Food Pantry by the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, relocated to its current location on Express Drive in Shallotte in June 2022, allowing for expanded services and better accessibility to the community it serves.
