Good Samaritan Hunger Center at Joy Park Community Center

Good Samaritan Hunger Center has been operating in Akron since 1982 with a mission to end food insecurity in the community. The nonprofit organization distributes groceries to families throughout Akron, provides weekend food bags to Akron Public School students, and offers supplemental food assistance to seniors, serving nearly 500 families per week with the goal that one day no one in the community will go hungry.
