Good Samaritan Hunger Center – Food Distribution Center

Good Samaritan Hunger Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1982 to alleviate food insecurity in the Akron area. The center operates as a mobile food pantry distributing nutritious groceries and fresh produce across multiple locations throughout Greater Akron, while also providing weekend food bags to children in local schools and a senior box program for area seniors. As a community-focused organization, Good Samaritan Hunger Center is funded primarily through donations and grants and relies on volunteers to carry out its mission to end hunger in the region.
