University of Cincinnati Bearcats Pantry

The Bearcats Pantry and Resource Center at the University of Cincinnati provides free food, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and professional clothing to students of all backgrounds experiencing food and other insecurities. Founded in 2016 by Associate Dean of Students Daniel Cummins in response to widespread student food insecurity, the pantry serves UC students, faculty, and staff. The center has expanded to include satellite locations and also offers meal vouchers for campus dining halls and a Career Closet with professional clothing for students preparing for interviews and internships.
