Campus Kitchen Project at Kent State University

The Campus Kitchen Project at Kent State University is a student-run nonprofit organization that collects surplus food from local sources and prepares healthy meals for those experiencing food insecurity in the community. As the only Campus Kitchen in Ohio and part of a national network of 38 college and high school programs, Kent State's kitchen serves thousands of meals annually while providing students with hands-on volunteer opportunities in food recovery and community service.
