Smith Chapel Food and Clothing Mission

Smith Chapel Food and Clothing Mission is a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 by Dannie and Jane Devol as a faith-based mission of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Logan, Ohio. The organization serves residents of Hocking County by providing food boxes, clothing, infant and household items to eligible families, with an average of approximately 800 families served monthly. Operated entirely by volunteers and relying on donor support and grants, the mission has grown from a community response to need into a major food assistance provider for the county.
