Catholic Charities 8th St. – Food Distribution Center

Catholic Charities 8th St. – Food Distribution Center, commonly known as 8th Street or the Lorain Family Center, is a nonprofit food pantry operated by Catholic Charities that serves individuals and families in Lorain County facing food insecurity and hardship. The center provides food assistance through a choice pantry model along with emergency support services including clothing and furniture referrals, prescription and utility assistance, and operates as a day shelter for vulnerable individuals. Catholic Charities has served the greater Lorain community for more than 20 years, reflecting its commitment to upholding the dignity of all people and meeting the basic needs of those most in need.
