Friendly Center – Food Distribution Center

Friendly Center is a faith-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that has served the Historic Vistula Neighborhood and broader North Toledo community since 1923. Operating in collaboration with the national United Methodist Women, the organization provides emergency food distribution, parent and senior nutritional feeding programs, case management services, youth enrichment activities, and community support services to help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency. The Friendly Center is located in a needy area of Toledo and serves a large part of the inner city, guided by its mission that "no neighbor will go hungry, feel alienated, alone or powerless."
