Osage Tribe, Ok — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

The Osage Nation Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (ONFDPIR) provides nutritious food packages to low-income Native American households living on the Osage Nation reservation. Administered through a partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Osage Nation, the program determines applicant eligibility, distributes commodity foods, and provides nutrition education to recipients. The program serves as an alternative to SNAP for tribal members in remote areas where food access and grocery store availability are limited.
