Nancy’s Food Pantry, a program of Philomath Community Services

Nancy's Food Pantry, a program of Philomath Community Services, is a free food pantry serving West Benton County and the surrounding region. Originally started in 1974 by Nancy Flegal, a retired social worker who delivered food on a bicycle to those in need, the program has grown into a major community resource now operated by Philomath Community Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1991. The food pantry partners with Lupe's Community Garden to provide locally-grown produce and works alongside other community programs including June's Kids Kloset to address the basic needs of individuals and families facing food insecurity.
