St Johns Food Share

Since 1988, St. Johns Food Share has operated as a volunteer-powered nonprofit in Portland's St. Johns neighborhood, serving individuals and families facing food insecurity across the Portland metro area. The organization distributes over 300,000 pounds of food annually through an open-door, no-barrier approach, and partners with Oregon Food Bank while actively gleaning fresh food from local grocery stores, restaurants, and bakeries to reduce waste and increase access to nutritious options.
