Wilkes Elementary School Free Food Market

The Wilkes Elementary School Free Food Market is a mobile food pantry operated by El Programa Hispano Católico and Oregon Food Bank that provides free fresh produce and pantry staples to families in Portland's northeast community. Located at Wilkes Elementary School, the market offers a shopping-style experience where community members can select items including fresh fruits, vegetables, and non-perishable goods with no identification or proof of address required. The initiative serves the broader community's need for equitable access to healthy food while supporting families experiencing food insecurity.
