SHEM Soup Kitchen (Manna)

SHEM Soup Kitchen (Manna) is a community meal program operated by Sweet Home Emergency Ministries that has served the Sweet Home, Oregon community for more than 20 years, providing free meals to residents in need. The program evolved from a former soup kitchen called Dining with Daisy and was restarted by a committed group of men from the United Methodist Church, with the mission to feed those experiencing physical, social, and spiritual hunger. The meals are prepared and served entirely by volunteers coordinated through various local churches and faith communities, ensuring that no one in the community is turned away from receiving a nutritious meal.
