Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank

The Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank has been serving the Lehigh Valley since 1978 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food relief to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. Operating as the area's only daily food bank, the organization serves approximately 450 households weekly through a client-choice pantry model that allows residents to select their own nutritious foods including fresh produce, dairy, and meats. The food bank relies on support from local congregations, businesses, foundations, and volunteers to carry out its mission of ensuring no one in the community goes hungry.
