Mitzvah Tifereth Israel – Food Pantry

The Mitzvah Food Program has served thousands of food insecure individuals and families in the Greater Philadelphia area since 1996. Operating out of the Congregation Tifereth Israel of Lower Bucks County in Bensalem, the program provides recipients with access to fresh, frozen, and nonperishable food items including kosher options through a points-based selection system that encourages healthier eating choices. The pantry sources its inventory from community donations, the Jewish Federation, the Pennsylvania State Food Purchase Program, grants, Philabundance, and other food partners, while also partnering with regional social service agencies to support clients' comprehensive needs.
