Saint Miriam Blessing Bag Outreach

Saint Miriam Blessing Bag Outreach in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, is a ministry rooted in Franciscan spirituality that provides food and hygiene support to homeless and food-insecure individuals in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Operating through their "Human First @ Saint Miriam" initiative, they distribute over 2,400 bags monthly containing nutritional items, hygiene supplies, and support services, along with specialized programs like CarSafe, which provides overnight parking and assistance to individuals living in vehicles. As part of Saint Miriam Parish, an inclusive Old Catholic community, the outreach embodies the organization's commitment to social justice and compassionate service to the marginalized and underserved.
