Tindley Temple Soup Kitchen

Tindley Temple Soup Kitchen is operated by Tindley Temple United Methodist Church in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia. With roots dating back to World War I, the soup kitchen was founded by Rev. Charles Albert Tindley as part of the church's commitment to fighting hunger and serving the homeless and food-insecure community. The kitchen resumed regular operations after temporarily closing during the pandemic and continues its mission of providing free meals to those in need.
