Harrisburg Area Food Pantry

The Harrisburg Area Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in the greater Harrisburg area. Founded in 1972 in response to Tropical Storm Agnes, the organization has been operating continuously for over 50 years and is one of the oldest continually operating food pantries in central Pennsylvania. Supported by donations from churches, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and volunteers, the pantry sources food from the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and other community partners to serve residents of Dauphin County.
