The Mantua Haverford Community Center/Mt. Vernon Manor CDC Food site is a food distribution center operated by Mount Vernon Manor Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit founded in 1977 dedicated to serving West Philadelphia communities including Mantua, Powelton, and East Parkside. The food site offers supplemental groceries and fresh food items sourced from community partners including Eat Right Philly, Share Food, and Philabundance, with additional support from the Mantua Urban Peace Garden.
