Mama-Tee.com Community Fridge – Opportunity Towers I & II

The Mama-Tee Community Fridge Project, founded by Dr. Michelle Nelson, operates two free community fridges at Opportunity Towers I & II in North Philadelphia, addressing food insecurity by providing residents with no-cost access to fresh, nutritious food. As part of the city's largest community fridge network, the organization has served nearly 200,000 residents since 2020 and maintains 18 locations across Philadelphia through volunteer-supported food distribution.
