Playstreet 100 W. Palmer St (Summer Meal Site)

Playstreet is a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation program that closes neighborhood streets to traffic to create safe, supervised outdoor spaces where children can play and receive free meals during the summer months. The program, which has been a Philadelphia tradition for over 60 years, is powered by community volunteers known as Playstreet supervisors who organize games, distribute free play equipment, and serve nutritious meals and snacks to neighborhood youth. This summer meal site at Palmer Street provides free meals to children 18 and under as part of the broader summer meals initiative across Philadelphia.
