Playstreet 1900 Granite St. (Summer Meal Site)

Playstreet 1900 Granite Street is part of Philadelphia's Playstreets program, a community initiative where designated neighborhood blocks are closed to vehicular traffic to create safe, supervised spaces for children. The site provides free nutritious meals and snacks to youth ages 18 and under through the Summer Food Service Program, along with recreational activities and free play equipment. Operated by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation with support from community volunteer supervisors, Playstreets has been a tradition in Philadelphia for over six decades, serving as a vital resource for summer youth engagement and food security across the city.
