St. Pio of Pietrelcina Food Pantry

The St. Pio of Pietrelcina Food Pantry began in the 1980s offering groceries to families in need and now feeds over 500 people monthly with the help of 18-33 volunteers. Operating as a ministry of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the pantry provides food at an affordable cost while receiving support from food drives, individual donations, area grocers, and grants from the Greater Pittsburgh Area Community Food Bank.
