CHOP South Philadelphia (Community Fridge)

South Philadelphia Community Fridge is a volunteer-based mutual aid organization dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing free access to fresh and healthy food throughout Philadelphia. Operating multiple community fridge locations across the city, including one in Point Breeze that has become one of their most-used sites, the organization partners with local grocers and restaurants to redistribute surplus produce and prepared foods while addressing the growing food access needs in their neighborhoods.
