Greater Berks Food Bank

Greater Berks Food Bank is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 by local clergy to address food insecurity in the community. The organization collects, stores, and distributes millions of pounds of food annually to over 280 charitable agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and senior programs serving Berks, Schuylkill, and western Montgomery counties. Through its network of partners, Greater Berks Food Bank helps nourish tens of thousands of neighbors in need each year while enabling participating charities to significantly reduce their food costs.
