Pete and Andy’s Food Pantry and Thrift Shop

Pete & Andy's Food Pantry and Thrift Shop is an outreach ministry of St. Peter's & St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Providence, RI, with roots in community service dating back to 1970. The food pantry serves 175-225 families weekly through partnerships with the RI Food Bank, while the accompanying thrift shop offers household goods at nominal prices, with proceeds supporting the pantry's mission. Despite operating from a small parish, the organization has expanded significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic to address food insecurity in the community, distributing over 188 tons of food in 2024.
