Food Pantry at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church

The Carol Hummel Food Pantry at Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church operates a choice-model food pantry in Murrells Inlet, serving hundreds of families weekly. Through a partnership with Lowcountry Food Bank, the pantry has expanded significantly to distribute fresh produce and groceries, serving over 45,000 people and distributing more than 460,000 pounds of food annually. The ministry also includes after-hours food lockers for convenient access and operates satellite locations at partner churches.
