Lowcountry Food Bank – Yemassee

Founded in 1983, Lowcountry Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that serves ten coastal counties in South Carolina through its distribution centers, with the Yemassee location serving as a Southern Regional Distribution Center. The organization works to combat food insecurity by distributing food through more than 250 partner agencies including food pantries, homeless shelters, and meal programs, while also advocating for those experiencing hunger and promoting access to healthy, nutritious food choices.
