Pierre Area Food Pantry

The Pierre Area Food Pantry is a program of Pierre Area Referral Service that has been serving the Pierre and Fort Pierre community since 1974. The pantry provides free emergency food assistance to low-income families, senior citizens, single parents, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and anyone else in need of food support. Operated primarily by volunteers, the pantry relies on donations from area churches, local businesses, clubs, organizations, and the Capital Area United Way to supply food for distribution.
