Chattanooga Area Food Bank
About
The Chattanooga Area Food Bank, founded in 1972, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to leading a network of partners and uniting the community to eliminate hunger by feeding, nourishing, and empowering those served. Operating across a 20-county service area spanning Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia, the organization distributes millions of pounds of nutritious food annually through a network of over 300 partner agencies, including churches, schools, and community centers. As a member of Feeding America, the national hunger relief organization, the Food Bank sources food from retailers, manufacturers, and local farmers while also operating community facilities like the Foxwood Food Center, its flagship grocery-style food pantry in Chattanooga.
