Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1986 that collects and distributes food to over 200 partner agencies throughout an eight-county region of Northeast Tennessee. The organization serves Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington counties, providing food assistance through programs including food pantries, backpack programs for school children, and a mobile food pantry. As a member of the Feeding America network, Second Harvest plays a vital role in combating hunger across Northeast Tennessee.
