The Nashville Food Project

The Nashville Food Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings people together to grow, cook, and share nourishing food with the goals of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in Nashville. Established in 2011, the organization operates urban gardens and orchards, prepares scratch-made meals from recovered and donated food, and distributes nourishing meals through partnerships with local community organizations. Through its community agriculture initiatives, food recovery efforts, and meal programs, the Nashville Food Project works to expand food access and build a more just and resilient food system for Nashville residents.
